My Christmas Wishlist

When I was a kid, I never fail to write a letter to Santa Claus, hoping that when Christmas comes, he will put my wish on our big Christmas sock. I do have a childish heart, that's why I want Santa to still see my wishlist for Christmas... There's nothing wrong with having a childish heart right? Anyway.. this is my wishlist!

1. A Yamaha Concert Flute

2. An iPhone 4s

3. An Apple MacBook Air

4. A Blackberry Curve

5. A Samsung 320 gb external drive

Well, as for me, there's nothing wrong with wishing.. even though I am this old. I still believe in Santa Claus. Yes, Santa is just for kids, but still lets not fade the christmas spirit away... Merry Christmas everyone!

The Wisdom Tooth

A wisdom tooth, in humans, is any of the usually four third molars, including mandibular third molar and maxillary third molar. Wisdom teeth usually appear between the ages of 17 and 25. Most adults have four wisdom teeth, but it is possible to have more, in which case they are called supernumerary teeth. Wisdom teeth commonly affect other teeth as they develop, becoming impacted or "coming in sideways". They are often extracted when this occurs.

Its been a while since my last blog entry. I've been busy these past weeks and I had my operation for the extraction of my wisdom tooth. Yes, my wisdom tooth. You may probably first see it here in my blog that a lady was talking about the extraction of her wisdom tooth.

This is how my teeth looks like before extraction. Look at the corners, you'll see impacted wisdom teeth. Just like what happened to me.

It was impacted and cause me sudden pain and discomfort in my right ear, and everyday migraine. At first I thought that it was ear pain, so I decided to go for a check up in an E.E.N.T. clinic. But after two months, the pain went worst. One of my officemates, told me that I may be experiencing TMJ or Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder, and suggested that I must consult my dentist, given that I am also wearing ortho (braces). And then, after my panoramic x-ray, we found out that 2 of my wisdom teeth, which are located on my lower gum line, were impacted, they grew horizontally, and the wisdom tooth on the right badly pushes my nerve. This was the greatest possibility of my everyday migraine. After 2 weeks, I decided to have my minor operation even though it is costly.

Right now, I feel more comfortable and safe knowing that the bad effect of the unextracted wisdom tooth was already known to me.  Next year, I am planning to have a minor surgery again for my other wisdom tooth (left side). I am very thankful to the dentists who actually save my life from this bothering wisdom tooth impaction and explained to me the bad affects if its not extracted.

Here is link of my current photo in facebook, recovering from my surgery. I look like a child eating a peter butter ball candy! Hahahaha! :)

Yeah, I know.. My face is bloated. Hahaha!

There are so many reasons why our wisdom teeth needs to be extracted, see them here: http://www.animated-teeth.com/wisdom_teeth/t2a-wisdom-tooth-extractions.htm#chronic.pain
